Submitting a Data Request or Reporting Missing Data
We take data seriously at TractIQ. It’s what powers the insights, the decisions, and the overall value you get out of the platform. But even the best datasets can have the occasional gap, and that’s where our community can help support. If you notice something that seems off (maybe a facility that’s missing, outdated info, or a housing development that needs updating), you can easily flag it right inside TractIQ.
How to Submit a Data Request
You can submit a correction or addition directly through the platform by clicking the “Report Missing Data” button. It’s located toward the bottom center-right of the screen (you’ll spot it near the center of your workspace).

Once you click, you’ll see a quick form pop up asking for a few helpful details:
- Type of data: Is it a storage facility, a housing development, or something else?
- Facility Name & Location: Include as much as you know. An address is especially helpful.
- Contact Info (optional): Phone number or website if you’ve got it.
- Status: Choose from options like “Open,” “Permanently Closed,” “Duplicate,” etc.
- Additional Details: Use the freeform section to tell us anything else you think we should know.

What Happens Next
Once submitted, our data team will review and personally verify the update. If everything checks out, the update will be included in our next weekly data release, which typically happens each Wednesday. When your submission goes live in the platform, we’ll notify you directly. If our team should have any additional questions about your request, we will follow up with you personally.
