May 2026 Release Notes

Featured Update: The AI Connector is Live — For Everyone on Pro, Pro+, and Max

This is a big one.

TractIQ Connector: our direct integration between TractIQ and AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, is now available to all Pro, Pro+, and Max customers.

You can open Claude or ChatGPT, ask a question, and the AI pulls live TractIQ data on your behalf, facilities, market stats, pricing trends, occupancy history, demographics, right inside your conversation. It works in your browser, and with Claude's Excel and PowerPoint integrations, you can pull TractIQ data directly into your underwriting models and decks without ever leaving the spreadsheet.

With the launch, we’re giving increased limits for the Summer so get in and take advantage! More info below about how to get connected (which takes about 2 minutes).

AI Connector: What's New

TractIQ’s new AI Connector allows your AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini…) to pull data directly from TractIQ into your conversation or wherever you interact with it. Whether you’re on your phone, in excel, in the browser, or coding.

Getting Started Guide → Step-by-step setup for Claude, ChatGPT, and other supported AI tools.

Workflows, Use Cases & Prompts → Real workflows, example prompts, and ideas for how to put the connector to work in your day-to-day.

If you're on Pro, Pro+, or Max, log in and give it a go. We'd love to hear how y'all are using it. If you are on a Starter plan and would like access, reach out to our team and we’d love help!

Alongside the launch, we shipped a handful of improvements that make the connector significantly more powerful:

Daily limits doubled across all tiers. Pro is now 50 tool calls/day (up from 25), Pro+ is 100/day (up from 50), and Max is 1,000/day (up from 500). This is a limited time boost until SSA Las Vegas. Enjoy the power!

Usage resets at midnight ET. Previously reset at midnight UTC, which meant some users were seeing their limit reset in the middle of the workday. Midnight ET means you start each morning fresh.

Batch facility lookups. The facility lookup, occupancy, and financial tools now accept up to 10 facilities in a single request, replacing what used to be 10 sequential calls. Multi-facility analyses just got a lot faster. Only successful lookups count against your daily limit.

Median household income added. MHI is now available in the market summary and demographic tools, giving you a fuller picture of any trade area without leaving your AI conversation.

Self-Service API Key Generation

Organization admins on eligible accounts (TractIQ MAX subscriptions and some Pro+ plans) can now generate, view, and copy their API key directly from the Settings & Subscriptions page. Quota details are displayed based on your plan tier. If your account doesn't include API access, you'll see a prompt with directions to contact our team.

Reports & Exports

Consistent deal name and date formatting across reports. Excel exports now follow the same deal name and facility name hierarchy as PDFs, and the date is positioned consistently on the cover page across report types.

Deal name and address headers restored on key reports. Demographic, Storage Site, and SQFTPC reports now show deal name and address headers with cleaner formatting that avoids repeating the same info across multiple radii.

Dashboard & Deal Management

Four new columns are now available for facility analysis sorting and filtering in the dashboard table: REIT SF/Capita, REIT % of NRSF, Planned SF per Capita, and NRSF of Facility.

Commercial development data exports are now available from the dashboard. We've expanded the data exports available on a deal from within the dashboard application to include the Commercial Developments export which was previously only available when exporting data while on the map page.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Deal pin details now reflect the latest information when a deal is updated and reopened from the map.
  • Fixed: Storage facility exports now only include facilities matching your active map filters, not every facility in the trade area.
  • Fixed: Boolean fields in list overview exports (like Has Pricing and Has Climate Control) now correctly show true/false instead of NA for false values.
  • Fixed: Reports only count against your limit when they succeed. An export is no longer counted if it fails or if you navigate away mid-generation.
  • Fixed: Rental comps Excel exports are now sorted by distance. Facilities in the downloaded report appear closest-first instead of in random order.
