How to Find Storage Facilities

1. Open the Facility Finder
   
   
   • On your map, click the Find Opportunities button in the top left.
     
     
   • Select Find facilities.
     
     
2. Choose Your Criteria
   
   
   • In the criteria menu, decide whether you want facilities that:
     
     
     • Match all of your criteria
       
       
     • Match any of your criteria
       
       
     • Match none of your criteria
       
       
   • For most prospecting, Match all is a great place to start.
     
     

1. Add Filters
   
   
   • Use the dropdown to select criteria such as:
     
     
     • Climate control
       
       
     • Management type
       
       
     • Owner data availability
       
       
     • Price per square foot by unit size
       
       
     • And many more options
       
       
   • Add as many criteria as you like to refine your search.
     
     
2. Apply & Review
   
   
   • Once you’ve added your filters, click Apply.
     
     
   • The map will update to show only the facilities that meet your selected criteria.
     
     
   • Each remaining pin on the map represents a matching facility.
     
     

 

Example: Filtering for Climate-Controlled Facilities with Owner Data

In this example, we filtered for facilities that:

• Are climate controlled
  
  
• Have a non-REIT management type
  
  
• Include owner contact data
  
  

After applying these filters, the map narrowed down to show only facilities in the Austin area that matched the criteria.

Why Use Facility Filters?

• Targeted prospecting – Focus on the most relevant properties.
  
  
• Save time – Eliminate facilities that don’t fit your criteria.
  
  
• Flexible analysis – Combine multiple filters to fine-tune your search.
  
  

Pro Tip: If you don’t see the results you’re expecting, try adjusting your criteria.
